This kit is modeled after two similar structures located near Ridgeway, Colorado - one at a location called Primos, the other called Omega.  The Primos structure is still standing, and has been recently stabilized by the US Forest Service, while the other structure is now a pile of rubble.  Variations did exist, and this kit is patterned after the Primos structure. 
 
Where possible, the kit is designed from on-site measurements.  Because the tram house is not accessible, the upper portions were scaled from photographs.
 
To allow for the needs of the modeler, the kit can be constructed so the house faces the chute, or turned around.  The stairs can also be constructed to fit on either side of the pocket.
